Plot Synopsis:  Dean Youngblood is the hotshot hockey player of his hometown. When he is offered a chance to join the Junior Canadian Hockey League, he jumps at the chance. But Dean quickly discovers that finesse on skates doesn't necessarily mean success in the rink. He struggles on and off the ice in his relationships with his coach (Lauter), his teammates (Swayze and Reeves), and his new love - the coach's daughter (Gibb) - in this fast-paced, intense hockey flick.
