Plot Synopsis:  The Mayor of the Sunset Strip is a documentary of the life and times of Rodney Bingenheimer, a.k.a. “Rodney on the ROQ" - a key figure in the Los Angeles music business for over 40 years. The film provides an intimate look at Rodney's connection with and impact on the Los Angeles music scene through documentary footage and interviews with a wide range of celebrities such as Davy Jones of the Monkees, Exene Cervenka of X, Cher, David Bowie, Mick Jagger, and many, many more.
